$2 a day, billed $60 a month. One price for all of Betsy: the call every day, the memory, the Sunday text, and word the same day if Mom mentions a fall, an illness or someone after her money. No device, no setup fee, no contract. If the first week doesn’t make Mom’s day, you pay nothing.
Is there a cheaper plan, or a better one?
There is one Betsy. Every mother gets the same voice, the same memory and the same ten minutes, so you will never lie awake wondering whether you bought her the lesser version. There are no tiers and no yearly plan to weigh up. The price above is the whole list, as of November 2026.
One Betsy, one price.
What does the $60 pay for?
Everything. The call at the hour Mom picks. The memory, so each call starts where the last one ended. Mom’s own calls to Betsy, any time, at the same number. The Sunday text. And word the same day of a fall, an illness or someone after her money. None of it is an add-on. You are billed once a month, not two dollars at a time.
When does the billing start?
On day eight. Your card goes on file before Mom’s first call, and nothing is charged before then. The first week starts with her first call. If it doesn’t make her day, call 1-855-HI-BETSY and say stop before day eight, and you pay nothing. If she never has a first call, you pay nothing.
After that you are billed $60 on the same date every month, and it renews by itself until you stop it. Where a state requires sales tax, we add it and show it before you pay. Betsy’s terms have all of it in plain words.
What if it isn’t right for her?
Then you find out in a week. If the first week doesn’t make Mom’s day, call and say stop before day eight, and you pay nothing. After that, say stop and it stops, and unused months are refunded: the rest of that month comes back to you. There is no contract to unpick and no device to send back. How to cancel Betsy has the rest.
How does Betsy compare with other services?
The compare page sets them beside Betsy, each with its published price and the date we checked it. Whichever one you are reading about, ask the same four things. Is it a real conversation? Does it remember last Tuesday? Does it work on the phone she already has? Is there a device or a setup fee on top? For Betsy the answers are yes, yes, yes and no. Everything else about her is on what Betsy is, and if you are wondering about Mom’s old phone, she works on a landline.
